SAGEPOINT ANALYTICS · SERVICES
Every week someone downloads the same files, copies rows, fixes formulas and emails the report. We turn that routine into a repeatable process that consolidates the data, flags what looks wrong and sends the report on schedule.
The problem
Excel and Sheets are not the problem. The problem is a manual sequence that only one person knows, that is hard to check and that breaks when that person is out.
What you get
We keep the format your readers already use and automate the steps that cause the work and the errors. Power Query handles repeated imports, Apps Script connects sheets and email in Google Workspace, and Python covers heavier jobs. We choose after seeing the real process.
The input files, owners, schedule, business rules and recipients, written down in one place.
Power Query, Apps Script or Python set up for where your data lives and how each file arrives.
Missing files, unexpected formats and total differences flagged for review before the report goes out.
The report in Excel or Google Sheets with the columns, filters and breakdowns your readers use.
Instructions to run it, review exceptions and adjust common sources without depending on the developer.
How it works
On a free 30–45 minute call we walk through one full cycle: the files you receive, the manual work and the report you send.
You get a written proposal with sources, formats, checks, frequency, recipients and a fixed price.
We build it with your real files, compare the result with your current report and adjust the exceptions with you.
We hand over the scripts or queries, documentation and training. Ongoing support starts at US$450/month for later changes.
Validation
We run the automated report side by side with the manual one on your real files until both match, and we write down every rule that explains a difference.
Package fit
The 14-Day Dashboard Pilot (US$750, paid on delivery) is a low-risk way to connect two sources and list what is worth automating next. Executive Cockpit, a fixed US$3,900, includes one report that builds and sends itself every week. Larger integrations start at US$15,000 with Control Room.

Yes, if the files follow a pattern in names, columns and timing. We review samples from different weeks to define how to combine them and what to do when a file is missing or arrives in a new format.
Power Query is usually better for importing and transforming the same kind of data again and again. VBA fits steps that happen inside one workbook. The choice depends on the files, permissions and who will maintain the process.
Yes. Apps Script can run scheduled tasks in Google Workspace, within the limits of your account. We check the volume, frequency and validations needed before setting up an automatic send.
We add checks that detect missing columns or unexpected data, so the report does not go out silently wrong. Adapting to future changes can be covered by the run guide or a support plan.
Yes. The handoff covers where the data comes from, how to run it, the calculation rules and how errors are handled. We also walk through it with the person who will operate it.
